Sin Sin Atelier was founded by Sin Sin Man in 1998 with intention to envision a sense of modernity while preserving the timeless beauty in modern world. As a hands-on artist, adventurer and designer, Sin Sin Man has traveled intesnsively to seek ways to utilize traditional textile, painting and craft techniques within a meaningful contemporary context. The Atelier is essentially an integrated art and design environment where Sin Sin Man could develop and communicate her deep-held belief that art should be present in our day-to-day life, from what we wear to the spaces we inhabit.
Sin Sin Atelier is pleased to present “ELEVATED” by Japanese Gemologist and Jeweller Honoka Kawazoe for connoisseurs and admirers of wearable art. It marks a new era of Sin Sin Atelier in collaboration with world-class and international design talent.
Honoka is dedicated to discovering gemstones that have undergone several hundred million years of transformation. She unearths emerald from mines in Columbia and handcrafts them into wearable art in her Bali studio. As a jeweller, artist and designer she aims to create a special bond between people and the unique characteristics of each individual gemstone.
Honoka draws inspiration from the uniqueness of each raw, uncut emerald for her eponymous collection of solitaire jewellery. Her creations envision her belief in charismatic yet elegant designs that elevates the beauty of modern women.
Embraced by the mother Earth,
Through the time of several hundred million years
Across time and space of eternity,
The emerald gemstones appear above ground.
Out of the mines of Columbia, South America.
At the moment the gemstones appear in my sight,
I feel an astonishing power and aura from their beauty; their radiance.
