Galerie KOO is delighted to present Michael LAM, local painter’s solo exhibition to all art lovers. This exhibition features a series of abstract paintings with a surreal mix of oil and lacquer on canvas. ⠀
Michael LAM (b. 1977) is a Hong Kong artist, and he was interested in painting at an early age. Autodidact, he started to paint at the age of 27. All through the years, Lam has developed his style of paintings with his favorite medium—oil, where he uses colours, forms, brush strokes and gestural marks to depict his views, thoughts and feelings towards nature… and his fantasies all along the path of his art journey. With the use of variety of colors and bold strokes, he added depths and complexity to his paintings, making it a vivid story in the eyes of the viewers. His works are extremely popular among local and international collectors from countries like Singapore, France, England, Japan, China and Australia.
