Sabia Inc. has developed advanced imaging devices by leveraging on the research and resources of the Ide Laboratory, Graduate School of Engineering (Kyoto University) for the ultra-high scanning technology for art & cultural sectors. The technology is based on line-scanning which gives excellent light control and high colour fidelity. This technology has already been used extensively in dozens of international projects in over 10 countries across five continents, including the digitization projects covering more than 7,500 national treasures and art objects in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Egypt, United Kingdom and the United States.
High-resolution optically resolved scanning is a process for the scientific recording of art, cultural heritage and archival material which does not involve image interpolation. It is vital for conservation and preservation, providing true-color, exceptional quality and very high resolution images (up to 2400 DPI) with non-contact & non-invasive scanning methods. It provides the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) sector and also individual artists with important benefits in the following areas:

Dr. Jay Arre Toque is currently the Chief Technical Officer of Sabia Inc. and Chief Researcher at ADS Corp. He has a doctoral degree from the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, specializing in developing high-resolution analytical imaging technology.
