TROPE AT THE MOMENT; 순간의 시선

The Stroll Gallery in Hong Kong will host a solo exhibition titled “Trope at the Moment” by artist Song Sumin in September.

In this exhibition, the artist showcases works that involve cutting and enlarging images related to gardens composed of grass and flowers, natural landscapes, volcanic eruptions, and smoke emanating from fires. The artworks fill the screen with ambiguous forms, evoking scenes of fireworks or smoke from explosions and water droplets falling from fountains, leaving viewers to ponder. Through a variety of narratives that incorporate senses and spatial characteristics, the artist unfolds multiple stories, hoping that the audience will have a special experience.

The solo exhibition “Trope at the Moment” by Song Sumin hopes to be a great opportunity to showcase his artwork in Hong Kong and looks forward to the participation of many viewers.

The exhibition will be opened from 8th of September (Friday) to 30th of September (Saturday).
