HKAGA SUMMER PROGRAMME 2022
Connecting Young Local Art Talents and Galleries
Submission deadline 27 May 2022

Following the success of the first edition of the Summer Programme which connected 26 local artists to 10 galleries, The Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) is pleased to present HKAGA Summer Programme 2022!

Organised by the Association, the Summer Programme invites young local artists, curators, and writers to submit a project that focuses on the local art scene and creates a positive impact on the new talents within the community. Participating galleries will open their doors and offer exclusive opportunities to work with their space. The projects and exhibitions will be reviewed by emerging writers and the pieces will then be compiled and published online and/or printed. HKAGA will serve as the bridge between young local curators/artists/writers and art galleries as well as promote the programme through our channels.

OBJECTIVES
  • To put together a project that focuses on the local art scene and creates a positive impact on the new talents within the community
  • To generate an on-going production every year with a long-term recurrence
