Sham Shui Po is still Sham Shui Po

Exhibition details

2 June, 2021
31 July, 2021
Event Category:

Schoeni Projects is delighted to announce SHAM SHUI PO IS STILL SHAM SHUI PO – a project dedicated to the exploration of one of Hong Kong’s oldest districts. This project aims to map the pulse of Sham Shui Po. A reminder of the value behind the historical landmarks and commerce. To reinforce the belief that we should treasure the collective memories and foster connections with the community as a whole, both old and new. Illustrated through the visual language of one of the most significant Hong Kong comic book artists, Li Chi Tak, who could in fact be considered a Hong Kong treasure himself, the map demonstrates his distinctive artistic style that tells miniature stories of the district and inspires the observer to explore the area themselves.

The free map will be available as a printed version, as well as a more comprehensive digital edition on Schoeni Project’s website on 2 June.
