“Vitality” Xu Hongfei Sculpture & Photography Exhibition

Coinciding with the first edition of the Hong Kong Art Gallery Week and its annual country theme for this year, China, Galerie Ora-Ora will be presenting a joint sculpture and photography exhibition, titled Vitality, by acclaimed Chinese master Xu Hongfei.

Renowned for his chubby women sculpture series, the focus behind Xu’s creations is unlike those of his peers. Following a monumental show at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, Xu embarked on a world tour accompanied by over 15 life size sculptures to countries including Australia and Italy.  His unique sculptural language has allowed him to embrace unparalleled success during his first world tour and Ora-Ora is excited to reintroduce Xu to our Hong Kong audiences with the highlights from this past year.
