In 2020, in conjunction with the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and China, the Italy-China Year of Culture and Tourism was announced and finally takes place in 2022, postponed by the pandemic. 2022 also marks the 200th anniversary of Italian Neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova’s (1757 – 1822) death. For this occasion, Novalis Art Design is delighted to host the travelling exhibition Jodice/Canova, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong, after various stops in Bassano del Grappa, Milan, Arezzo, Mexico City and San Marino, which will then travel to Shanghai later this year.

Date: 19 May, 2022 | 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The last two years have been a time to remember. Not perhaps for the best reasons we might want, but notable anyway as an indicator of stress on an international level.
The world has experienced a new wave of social and political instability in 2022. Wars, pandemic, sanctions, natural disasters have stirred up social and economic turmoil.
But, we are still seeing and hearing lessons in courage beyond almost anything we can comprehend in modern times. Therefore, SC Gallery presents “The Sunshine is still there”, inviting six local young and emerging artists to express their feelings and interpretations of theme.
