Smith, and Tseng Kwong Chi.The exhibition presents a selection of photographs, prints, and works on paper from the gallery's collection, bringing together artists whose works have contributed to contemporary visual culture. Highlights include works related to Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Francis Bacon, offering a dialogue between photography, printmaking, and contemporary portraiture.Featured artists include Christopher Makos, known for his close association with Andy Warhol and his photographs of the New York art scene; Helmut Newton, one of the most influential photographers of the twentieth century; Makoto Saito, celebrated for his distinctive portraits of historical and cultural figures; Rupert J. Smith, artist and master printer who collaborated closely with Andy Warhol; and Tseng Kwong Chi, whose photographs provide an important record of the New York art world in the 1980s.
