Set up in 2014, JPS Art Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery to present the works of emerging and established artists from around the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic internship to join the team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and manage daily operations of gallery and store spaces
- Responsible for administrative tasks which include but not limited to handle walk-in clients / visitors, taking care of VIPs, email and phone enquires, update database and gallery contacts, shipment orders, and inventory management
- Preparing gallery marketing materials, proof-reading and translation
- Assist in planning, organizing and installing the gallery’s exhibitions, art fairs, and art events
- ad-hoc tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- University student or degree holder in art related fields
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Highly organized with a strong eye for details
- Hard-working, responsible, motivated, and passionate about art
- Familiar with using Google Drive, Microsoft office, and iWork
- Immediate availability preferred
LOCATION
- JPS Art Gallery Hong Kong Landmark Central;
- JPS Office, Mong Kok
- 8 hours per day, at least 3 days per week
- Work during weekends and public holidays are required
