VIP Relations Executive (Contract, Late Dec 2025–Apr 2026)
ABOUT ART CENTRAL
Art Central, a cornerstone event of Hong Kong Art Week, showcases the next generation of talent from Asia’s most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world. Presented in partnership with United Overseas Bank (UOB), Art Central will return to its home on Hong Kong’s iconic Central Harbourfront on 25 – 29 March 2026. The upcoming eleventh edition will be staged in an architect-designed, purpose-built structure overlooking Victoria Harbour, conveniently situated in the heart of the city’s business district within walking distance of Art Basel at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Head of VIP Relations, Art Central is seeking a VIP Relations Executive with experience working in the visual arts. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to assist VIPs with professionalism and efficiency.
• Working Hours: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
• Contract Period: December 29, 2025 to April 17, 2026
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
• Assist with planning and execution of VIP events leading up to Art Central and during the Fair
• Liaise with VIP guests via email, WhatsApp, and WeChat
• Liaise with galleries regarding their VIP guest invitations
• Manage guest invitation registrations and track downloads
• Coordinate curated tours during Fair for VIP institutional and corporate groups
• Create and maintain VIP accounts in CRM system, ensuring account information is up to date
• Set up and support the operation of VIP Pass Registration portals
• Assist with designing, printing, and delivering physical VIP Passes
• Assist VIPs with pass registration and downloads
• Conduct analysis of VIP post-Fair data
• Assist Galleries and Marketing teams with ad hoc tasks
Requirements
• Degree in art and cultural fields, with at least 2 years working experience
• Strong command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Confident in interacting with individual VIPs and VIP groups in a polished and professional manner
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to process large volumes of sensitive data accurately and diligently
• Proficient in Canva and other design softwares, with experience in producing visual aids including relevant charts and diagrams.
• Comfortable with creating and analysing surveys
• Proficient in using Google Sheets and Google Docs
• The candidate must be eligible to work in Hong Kong
This is a full-time, contract position that runs from late December 2025 to April 2026, and the candidate must be available from 24 – 29 March 2026 throughout the Fair’s opening hours. The candidate must be available to work 5 days a week, and may occasionally be required to work evenings or on Saturdays.
