VIP Relations Intern (Late Dec 2025–Apr 2026)

ABOUT ART CENTRAL
Art Central, a cornerstone event of Hong Kong Art Week, showcases the next generation of talent from Asia’s most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world. Presented in partnership with United Overseas Bank (UOB), Art Central will return to its home on Hong Kong’s iconic Central Harbourfront on 25 – 29 March 2026. The upcoming eleventh edition will be staged in an architect-designed, purpose-built structure overlooking Victoria Harbour, conveniently situated in the heart of the city’s business district within walking distance of Art Basel at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

JOB SUMMARY
Art Central is seeking a highly motivated intern to join its VIP Relations team. The candidate should show a proven interest in visual arts, excel in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong multitasking ability.

• Working Hours: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Internship Period: December 29, 2025 to April 17, 2026

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
• Assist with execution of VIP events leading up to Art Central and during the Fair
• Liaise with VIP guests via email, WhatsApp, and WeChat
• Support management of guest invitation registrations and track downloads
• Follow-up with VIP institutional and corporate groups on curated tour arrangements during Fair
• Update and maintain VIP account information in CRM system
• Set up and support the operation of VIP Pass Registration portals
• Assist with the printing and delivery of physical VIP Passes
• Assist VIPs with pass registration and downloads
• Assist with VIP post-Fair data analysis
• Assist Galleries and Marketing teams with ad hoc tasks


Requirements
• University graduate or student, preferably in the Art & Cultural field
• Strong command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Comfortable interacting with individual VIPs and VIP groups in a polished, professional manner
• Ability to work independently & efficiently
• Ability to multi-task, with strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and a desire to learn
• Ability to process large volumes of sensitive data efficiently and diligently
• Comfortable using Canva and design software
• Comfortable creating and analysing surveys on Survey Monkey
• Comfortable creating visual aids - charts, diagrams, etc
• Comfortable Google Sheets, Google Docs
• All candidates must be eligible to work in Hong Kong as we are unable to assist with visa applications for our Internship Program.

This is a paid, part-time position that runs from late December 2025 to April 2026, and the candidate must be available from 24 – 29 March 2026 throughout the Fair’s opening hours.
The candidate must be available to work at least 2 full days per week between Monday to Friday, and may occasionally be required to work evenings or on Saturdays.
