Established as one of Hong Kong’s leading photography‑focused art spaces, Blue Lotus Gallery is renowned for championing both emerging and established photographic artists through thoughtfully curated exhibitions. As we continue to grow our programme and international presence, we are seeking an exceptional Gallery Manager to join our team.
We are looking for a confident, collaborative team player who will lead our sales efforts while also contributing to the expansion of our artist roster, as well as supporting research and exhibition curation.
Key Qualifications:
- At least a few years experience in the art world and sales of luxury brands
- Outstanding client‑relationship management and refined communication skills
- Proven organisational, administrative, and multitasking capabilities
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Cantonese
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day gallery operations with professionalism and precision
- Visitor engagement; welcome visitors and provide information about current exhibition
- Manage client relations, collector communications, and sales procedures
- Liaise with artists, coordinate exhibitions, and support curatorial and logistical planning
- Assist in the organisation of events, openings
Requirements
- University graduate in art studies, history or related subjects
- Knowledge of photography, photographic history, and the contemporary photography market
- Excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- HKID holder
