MASSIMODECARLO is seeking an Art Basel Hong Kong Intern

MASSIMODECARLO, a leading international contemporary art gallery with locations in Milan, London, Hong Kong, Paris and Seoul, is looking for a motivated intern to join our team at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026. An exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience at one of the world’s premier art fairs while working closely with a dynamic gallery team.

Position Details

Location | Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Art Basel Hong Kong) & MASSIMODECARLO HK Gallery
Duration | Full day for March 24–30, 2026 (mandatory orientation session prior to the fair)
Compensation | Paid position

Responsibilities

- Assist with booth setup, artwork installation, and de-installation.
- Engage visitors by providing insights into exhibited artworks and the gallery’s program.
- Maintain the presentation and condition of artworks throughout the fair.
- Support administrative tasks, including inventory checks and client coordination.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during fair hours.

Requirements

- Background in Fine Arts, Art History, or a related field (current student or recent graduate preferred).
- Passion for Contemporary Art
- Professional communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
- Familiarity with Art Basel or major art fairs experience is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively
