Office Manager (Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese required)

Position Summary; duties and responsibilities:
• Office administration & maintenance, ensuring overall safety and cleaning services
• Management of social media platform (WeChat page and Little Redbook)
• Gather and blast out marketing material of shows and art fairs
• On-going support and liaison for artists interviews with PR / press
• Support local HK / China itinerary for transportation / accommodation booking / meal reservations
• Support logistic team with local deliveries
• Senior Director’s Support in sales activities (post-sale follows up; Senior director’s business trip agenda; track of expenses report)
• Manage exhibition and office calendar and appointments (vernissage, private events and viewings etc.)
• Organize exhibition installation shooting and single artworks shooting
• Post-production and system cataloguing of exhibition and artworks photos
• Support gallery devices updates and manage IT / devices / gallery alarm
• Manage Staff Annual Leave & Holiday arrangements
• Responsible for Chinese press relationships, press pitch, WeChat and Little Red Book content creation
• Assist Asian fairs application & marketing material submission
• Coordinate artist interviews and provide marketing materials for press coverage

Qualifications:
Graduate in art, art history, museum studies or related field.
3 to 4 years related experience in art gallery/auction house. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
Proficiency in digital file maintenance and photo- editing software.
Proficiency on Mac platform and FileMaker/similar ERP software.
A successful candidate should have a strong work ethic, a kind attitude towards guests and clients and an eye for detail. The candidate is required to show good communicational skills, a positive attitude to team work, an understanding of art handling, packing and storage, knowledge of photography/AV equipment, and disposability to work under deadlines and over time if and when required, often during exhibition installations and art fairs。
