HKAGA warmly invites you to join #SouthsideSaturday on Nov 22. Wander through Wong Chuk Hang and Tin Wan to uncover exciting new exhibitions in the vibrant art community!

- Masters & New Perspectives
DE SARTHE presents two compelling exhibitions concurrently: “Marc Chagall: Dreaming in Color”, and “Caison Wang: Limerent Warrior • The Digital Reincarnation”, while debuts its new media room with video works by Bingqing Dong. Ben Brown Fine Arts presents “Alighiero e Boetti: Ononimo”, showcasing the artist’s iconic series exploring order, collaboration, and duality. Axel Vervoordt Gallery features Ann Leda Shapiro’s first Asian solo exhibition “Body is Landscape”, integrating artistic practice with Eastern medical philosophy.

- Highlighting Local & Asian Artists
Alisan Atelier presents group exhibition “Spirit in Flux”, where eleven artists respond to Lui Shou-kwan’s innovative ink legacy. Whitestone Gallery’s “Trace of Wind” unites Korean artists Lee Ufan and Lee Chae in a contemplative dialogue with nature and inner self. Tang Contemporary Art showcases “Two Paths of Perception: Nianxin Li & Shiqing Deng”, initiating an experimental dialogue on viewing and perception while SC Gallery showcases local artist Jacky Tao’s “Ecstasy”, weaving the dual metaphors of folding screens and digital monitors into urban narratives. Sin Sin Fine Art brings contemporary Indonesian art at the latest “Life Records II” while Rossi & Rossi showcases “Tsherin Sherpa: Hello Darkness...My Old Friend” on its final day. And Art Perspective features works by Zao Wou-Ki.

- Contemporary Expressions in Art & Craft
WKM Gallery ’s “Forms of Becoming” explores how four Japanese ceramics artists reinterpret regional traditions; Boogie Woogie Photography's “MADE IN JAPAN” spans four generations of photographers and artisans while wamono art presents the collaborative exhibition “Moments” by Ryan Cheng and Yuko Fukuba Johnsson, connecting memory and materiality. Do not miss out "Dreamlike Dream" curated by GayBird and Vanissa Law at HKADC SHOWCASE - an interactive exhibition and performace inspired by Zhuangzi’s renowned parable of the butterfly dream.
