Arts Development Officer - Hong Kong Art Gallery Association



- Administrative work
- Updating website & social media channels

Knowledge/ Skills:
Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate active outreach programs

- University degree
- At least 2 years working experience
- Relevant educational or work experience in Arts/Culture or Marketing/PR
- Excellent command of spoken & written English & Chinese preferred
- Proficiency in spoken Putonghua
- Mature, presentable, with good communication & interpersonal skills
- Possessing creativity, initiative & self-motivation
- Ability to work independently & efficiently
- Ability to multi-task, with good organisational skills
- Attention to details a must

Gallery Executive / Gallery Assistant - Karin Weber Gallery



- Assist gallery team in the production and promotion of gallery exhibitions

- Manage the publication of exhibition catalogs, database, website information and social media platforms

- Translation of written material from English to Chinese and vice versa

- Handle shipping of works to and from overseas and logistics locally

- Daily maintenance of the gallery

- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned


- University degree holders preferably in art related discipline

- Cheerful, confident, well-organized and detail-orientated

- Happy to liaise with a broad range of people - artists, clients, suppliers etc - and being outgoing with strong people skills is important

- Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred

- Fresh graduate and upto 1 year relevant work experience for Gallery Assistant; 1-2 years relevant experience for Gallery Executive

- Work alongside gallery employees across various departments
- Conduct research
- Carry out administrative projects
- Assist during exhibition openings, events, and daily gallery operations
- Responsible for specific projects based on individual department of interest

- Articulate, well organised, self-motivated, adaptable, resourceful, and with a willingness to learn
- Educational background in Communications, Business, Art or Art History Preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Mac computer systems

Intern - HOCA Foundation


HOCA Foundation is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in gaining experience in a non-profit contemporary art organisation. The intern will be provided with a multi-faceted and hands-on experience of working on current and upcoming programming.
Schedule: 10am - 7pm on working days; minimum two days per week
Term: Minimum three months
The Intern will participate in HOCA's programming and administrative processes and is encouraged to explore ideas relevant to their studies/professional interests. An intern's tasks may include the following: curatorial assistance, exhibition organisation, leads research, archiving, social media outreach, drafting artist biographies, event planning and support, administrative, and other assigned projects.

EMPTY GALLERY is looking for a young, organised and all-rounded gallery assistant to join our team. It will be a demanding position that requires working on and organising a wide variety of tasks, but it will be rewarding with opportunities to travel, meeting and working with artists and musicians and hosting various types of exhibitions and performances.

- Provide administrative and visual support to the team on gallery operations, administrations and exhibitions
- Responsible for all promotional and communication materials, including coordination and design
- Manage gallery social media and online platforms
- Upkeep Artwork Database and promotional material stock
- Assist in computer and software troubleshooting
- Responsible for Chinese press liaison; Organise press clipping and filing
- Maintain and update daily display items and gallery presentation

- University graduate, preferrable in design related subjects
- Strong interest in art and the Hong Kong art scene
