Official Photographer for Art Central 2023

Job

Art Central is looking for an experienced event photographer to be the Official Photographer for the Fair’s upcoming March edition. Staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Fair will feature over 70 regional and international art galleries and will run from 22 – 25 March 2023 (Preview 21 March).

The role of the Official Photographer will be to capture all aspects of the art fair including gallery booths and artwork, large-scale installations, programming including talks and performances, crowd shots, partner booths and more.

 Applicants must be available 20 – 24 March.

  • Assist with planning and organizing exhibitions and various art/cultural events
  • Assist with updating artwork inventory and client database
  • Assist with day-to-day operations including general office administration
  • Maintain close relations with clientele

Requirements:

  • Diligent, competent and creative-minded
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience in graphic design will be an advantage
  • Adaptable, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • The duration of the internship is expected to be 3-6 months
  • Immediate availability preferred
