We are a Hong Kong-based private art collection with a focus on Post War and Contemporary Art. We are looking for a well-rounded researcher to provide overall support to the team, including but not limited to research, administration, social media management, and event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research on assigned subjects, including but not limited to artists, artworks, and institutions
- Maintaining high level of organization, work independently to update and maintain an accurate inventory record, art library, and internal database
- Coordinate all aspects related to logistics, framing, restoration, and other ad hoc needs
- Responsible for planning and implementing artwork rotations/layouts
Assist in planning and overseeing art-related events and projects - Produce original ideas, write, and edit content to maintain social media presence for the collection
- Communicating and corresponding with external experts and stakeholders
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirement:
- 2 years or above relevant or comparable working experience at galleries, museums, auction houses, or any art organization is preferred. Fresh graduates will also be considered
- Bachelor degree or relevant qualifications preferably in Art/Art History/Art Administration or related field
- Experience working with UHNW individuals will be an advantage
- Committed and mature team player with a can-do attitude, fiduciary mindset, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
- Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin
- Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills
- Immediate available is highly preferred
