Villepin is seeking highly motivated gallery assistants with strong passion of art. An opportunity to interact with our visitors, to assist the team in daily operation and gallery tour, to participate in gallery’s events, etc. Candidates should be out-going and detail-oriented with a friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Front desk duties
- General support in the gallery exhibition
- Daily operations of the gallery
- Provide guided tours of ongoing exhibition in Cantonese, English & Mandarin
- Answer booking, phone calls, and emails inquiries
- Research on curation and art-related projects
- Clients database management, classification, and updates
- Ensure the tidiness of the gallery space
- Perform any ad hoc duties and support events when required
Requirements
- Degree holder in Art History, Visual Arts, Culture Studies, and any other similar fields is preferable
- Experience in working with the public in a visitor-facing role
- Excellent command of written and spoken in English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS (PowerPoint, excel, word)
- Friendly, helpful and enthusiastic disposition
- Flexible approach, willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Decent, adaptable, self-motivated, good communication skills and independent with a strong sense of responsibility
- Immediate availability preferred
