Gallery Assistant (Full-time / Part-time) – Blindspot Gallery

Set up in 2010, Blindspot Gallery is a Hong Kong-based contemporary art gallery, that has a strong focus on contemporary photography and image-based works amongst other media in contemporary art. We are looking for a full-time / part-time Gallery Assistant to work closely with our team.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in compilation of press materials 
– Assist in preparation of marketing materials including printed and electronic catalogues
– Assist in preparation and organisation of exhibitions and events
– Update website and manage online social media platforms
– Assist in daily operation of the gallery including inventory and database management

Requirements:
– Tertiary education level
– Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
– Creative software skill is a must, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
– Photographing skill is preferred
– Organised, independent, good timekeeping, multi tasking, pay attention to detail and team player
– Immediately available

Candidate should commit to work 2-3 days a week and have the flexibility to engage more working days and hours before and during art fairs and events.
