Gallery Assistant (Part-time) / Intern – Blindspot Gallery

Set up in 2010, Blindspot Gallery is a Hong Kong-based contemporary art gallery, that has a strong focus on contemporary photography and image-based works amongst other media in contemporary art. We are looking for a part-time Gallery Assistant / Intern to work closely with our team.

Responsibilities:
– Data entry and other administrative works including inventory management
– Update website and online platforms
– Assist in graphic design and layout of marketing materials such as printed and electronic catalogue
– Assist in preparation and installation of exhibitions
– Assist in preparation and organisation of gallery events such as opening reception and artist talk

Requirements:
– Tertiary education level
– Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
– Creative software skill is a must, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
– Photography skill is desired but not essential
– Organised, independent, good timekeeping, multi tasking, attention to detail and team player
– Immediately available

Candidate should commit to work 2-3 days a week.
