Gallery Intern (Part-time) – Affinity Art

Affinity Art represents emerging and established contemporary artists from Asia. We have an opening for an internship that provides a comprehensive overview of the working of a gallery, including the preparation of exhibitions at the gallery, support for local and overseas art fairs and liaison with suppliers. We invite applications from talented and self-driven individuals with a genuine interest in art.

Responsibilities:
– Attend to daily gallery operations
– Support art fairs and events
– Support the preparation of marketing materials
– Assist in social media, website and email communications
– Flexible schedule of 2 to 3 working days a week (including one day at the weekend),

Requirements:
– University graduate (or currently studying) in an art-related field
– Written and spoken fluency in English, proficient in Chinese
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Responsible, organised and reliable
– Detail-minded and positive attitude
– Independent and self-motivated
– Working knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
