Intern – HOCA Foundation

The HOCA Art Foundation is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in gaining experience in a non-profit contemporary art institution. The intern will be  provided with a multi-faceted and hands-on experience of working on current and upcoming programming.

Responsibilities:

The Intern will participate in HOCA’s curatorial and administrative processes and is encouraged to explore ideas relevant to their studies/professional interests. An intern’s tasks may include the following: curatorial assistance, exhibition organization, leads research, archiving, social media outreach, drafting press releases, blog posts and artist biographies, event planning and support, administrative, and other assigned projects.

Requirements:

Applicants should speak English and Chinese be organised, motivated and detail oriented individuals with good writing skills, computer skills and a professional phone manner.

Schedule:

–  10am – 7pm on working days;
– number of working days to be agreed upon confirmation of internship.

Reimbursement:

This is an unpaid internship. You are responsible for the cost of traveling to and from the office.

Other necessary travel and purchases for work purposes will be reimbursed if agreed with your immediate supervisor in advance.
