Fulltime Gallery Assistant

Located in Tai Kwun , Touch Gallery is looking for highly motivated Gallery Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• be able to communicate effectively with wide ranges of audiences and broad types of messages;
  • Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the gallery space, especially the workshop space.
  • Assist the Gallery Manager in operational and art logistic related works
  • Implementing marketing strategies to increase sales, advertising gallery artists and collections
  • Assist and support with the exhibitions throughout the year
  • Update and maintain gallery database, website and social media platform
  • Prepare promotional materials and edit videos for events

Requirements:

• Be highly-organized and detail-oriented with strong initiative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI, Photoshop and video editing skills
  • possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Mature, outgoing and responsible with pleasant personality
  • Extensive knowledge of the Fine Art industry is preferred.
  • require to work on evenings, weekends and public holidays, according to the duty roster assigned as shift duty is required
  • Must be Hong Kong permanent resident or have valid Hong Kong working visa
  • Preferably have 1-2 years relevant experiences

Education:
Recognized university bachelor degree in arts, art management / marketing or related discipline.
