Volunteers for Central West Hong Kong – HKAGA

Central West Hong Kong will be held on 13 – 14 March. Central West Hong Kong (CWHK), in collaboration with contemporary art galleries across the Central Western district, is a synergic event that showcases a plethora of local and international artistic talents. CWHK, at the core, is a platform that facilitates the collective flourishing of galleries, institutions, art lovers, artists, and curators; this self-initiative event brings strong long-term momentum to the Hong Kong art scene.

 

Responsibilities:
– Assist in the execution and coordination of CWHK, including but not exclusive to:
– Stationing in Sheung Wan to serve as point of information for visitors during event days.
– Giving clear instructions and guidance to visitors.
– Provide ad hoc support to HKAGA team and participating galleries.
– Commitment: 13 – 14 March, from 10am to 7:00pm including a one-hour lunch break. Flexible working days depending on availability.

Requirements:
– University students, preferably experienced in production, logistics and event management for assisting galleries or public institutions
– Passion in Art & Cultural field
– Strong command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
– Mature, presentable, with good communication and interpersonal skills
– Possessing initiative and self-motivation
– Ability to work independently and efficiently
